Membership at Trentham Golf Club

The Club was recognised as a private members' club in 1894 and celebrates its 130th anniversary in 2024.  Trentham is a traditional parkland course, designed by Harry Colt, that welcomes gents, ladies and juniors whilst deliberately maintaining its membership base.

A limited number of Golf Memberships are available at present.  

Prospective golfers wishing to take up the sport would benefit from joining our Beginners' Academy.  This introductory category offers lessons with our PGA Professional and unrestricted use of the practice facilities and is available for a period of 12 months, following which members would be encouraged to transfer to full playing membership.

Boasting two squash courts, which are also actively used for racketball and table tennis, the Club is proud to offer Squash membership, where players can participate in various leagues and matches.  In addition Snooker can be enjoyed in our private, full size facility.

Our social calender is extensive, ranging from black tie dinners to more informal events and regular Bridge matches hosted throughout the year, which are enjoyed by both playing and social members alike.  Social membership is currently available with no entrance fee charged for this category.

Prospective members will gain an understanding of the traditions of Trentham which is achieved by the requirement of a Proposer and Seconder.  However, this should not be viewed as restrictive as special arrangements can be made with our Director Membership.
